La Colombiere is set amongst the vineyards between the rivers Dordogne and Garonne and surrounded by the historic Bastide towns associated with the 100 year war. Fokelore says the first shot of this conflict was fired in the little hamlet of Puyguilheim not 1 mile away from this house. The area has an abundance of wine tasting chateaux, restaurants and cafes to suit every taste and budget and history to be marvelled at. We have a wonderful climate here in the Bergerac area enjoying all of the seasons and beautiful sun filled days in the summer. |
